I originally booked a less expensive hotel but days before our stay I read the horrible reviews listed on their website. I immediately cancelled the reservation and booked the Hyatt Place and I am SO GLAD I did. This hotel was wonderful. Beautiful property. Our room seemed enormous as hotel rooms go. We entered into the living are which had a sectional couch with sofa bed across from the bar/fridge and desk area. A small divider separated the living area from the sleeping area of two double beds. The TV was situated where it could be seen from both areas. The bathroom/toilet was in its own room separate from the sink area which made it easier to get ready while someone else was showering. Also, there are bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body soap available for use right there in the shower. The staff--so very kind and helpful! The gentleman who checked us in was extremely personable and gave us the best way to get to Truist Park. There is a bar area in the lobby that also has soft drinks and snacks. Ashley was very sweet and helped me and my son in getting soft drinks and oh-so-delicious chocolate chip cookies after our first ball game! Nice breakfast in the mornings with the usual cereal/eggs/toast/bagels but also with waffles, oatmeal, yogurt with fruit and granola available and also all the makings for breakfast tacos. This hotel is the perfect location for visiting Truist Park. It's only a short (maybe 1/2 mile) walk to the Battery entrance. It's very populated before and after the game along with police/traffic control personnel directing your way away from the park. We never felt unsafe during our walks to and from Truist. Lots of eating places nearby the hotel and park. The Steak and Shake was delicious and the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins was open until 11pm. Once we parked our car the first day we never got in it again until we left 2 days later!

You could tell the rooms were recently renovated. It was great for my family’s plans for Six Flags and a few Braves games. We were walking distance to The Battery and a quick 15 minute ride to Six Flags. We would go to Six Flags early and take a break at the hotel, eat, and then head back for the evening time. This was the furthest away from the stadium we have stayed in the area prior when going to the games and we didn’t know what the walk back after the game at night was going to be like. We felt completely safe and had plenty of people walking back our direction and police officers directing traffic. We enjoyed being close to the stadium but far enough away to avoid the crowds and traffic if we needed to go anywhere. On the way back from Six Flags, on nights we didn’t go to the game, there was a back way to completely avoid all game traffic (take a left off Exit 18) and it takes you to Spring Hill Parkway that avoids all traffic and right back of the hotel. We ended up taking this route every time. It was perfect. The breakfast was an “above average hotel hot breakfast” with eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, fruit, and several grab and go items. It was a busy weekend the food was always fresh.

We spent 9 days on this road trip. This stop was just to spend a night before continuing home to South Florida. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in during the entire trip. Their breakfast offered more food options including several healthy choices. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is tiny. More of an observation than a complaint. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and very helpful in suggesting restaurants for dinner close by. The lighting in the room is a bit poor, it could be brighter, but again, this is an observation, not a complaint. The only complaint is that I did notice an awful lot of cars coming in and meeting people in the parking lot and leaving. That made me a bit uncomfortable. A non guest at the hotel was in the back parking lot talking loudly on his cell phone. The topic wasn't pleasant as he was describing being arrested and facing a judge he had faced previously. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

Nearly perfect all around. Staff was great. Clean (nearly new) facilities. Large room. Small bar in lobby behind check in desk for a quick drink. Down side. Breakfast didn't start till 7:00 am. Airport is 50 minutes away, so don't count on breakfast AND an early airport departure. Cereal, bagels, and fruit were fine. Dont eat the powdered eggs or reconstituted sausage product. They did have bacon bits, like for salad?

We loved everything, but the top 3 for me were the room setup (divider with sleeper sofa), dog-friendly walking area, and pool. The staff was super friendly and the location was perfect for our plans. We walked to Carrabba's for an excellent dinner and were 20 minutes from our planned attractions. The buffet breakfast was fantastic as well.
